WWII Memorial vandalism suspect now in custody, to be charged with two felonies, Pirro announces

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced the suspect accused of vandalizing the World War II Memorial has been taken into custody and faces two felony charges. Melissa L. Farris is charged with Depredation Against Property of the United States and Destruction of Veterans' Memorials, offenses carrying up to ten years in prison.
