Strand bookstore to pay nearly $1.5 million over Covid loan tied to Sen. Wyden's wife

Strand Bookstore, signed off on by Nancy Bass Wyden, will pay nearly $1.5 million over a COVID-19 loan. Wyden, whose grandfather founded the New York City bookstore, signed the Paycheck Protection Program loan which was ineligible due to her status as a senator's wife.
