White House pulls ICE director nominee

The White House has withdrawn the stalled nomination of former Oklahoma state trooper Lance Schroyer to lead Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Schroyer's nomination had been announced by President Donald Trump in June, and ICE has not had a Senate-confirmed director since the Obama administration.
