U.S. International Transactions and Investment Position, 2nd Quarter 2026

The U.S. current-account deficit widened to $246.0 billion in the second quarter of 2026, a 15.7 percent increase from the previous quarter. The U.S. net international investment position was –$22.42 trillion at the end of the second quarter of 2026.
