U.S. carries out new military strikes in Iran

U.S. military officials at Central Command stated that American strikes in Iran were in response to attempted attacks by Iran on commercial shipping and U.S. service members. These actions followed recent Iranian efforts to target maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
