Trump’s Department of Labor claims without data that states defrauded government

Keith Sonderling, acting head of the Department of Labor, sent letters to 53 states and U.S. territories threatening to withhold administrative funds to combat unemployment insurance fraud. Sonderling stated the department would use "every lever available" to protect taxpayer money if states allow waste, fraud, and abuse.
