Trump Says Irish Unification Would Be ‘Fantastic,’ Breaking With Precedent

The New York Times reported that former President Donald Trump stated Irish unification would be "fantastic." The United States maintains an official neutrality on the issue which was a source of prolonged conflict until the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.
