Trump-backed Nevada Republican exaggerated Bronze Star award in two campaigns

Congressional hopeful David Flippo's campaign announced he was awarded the Bronze Star, but he later stated his staff made a mistake in a 2023 announcement video. The campaign deleted the video three years after it was originally posted.
