Trump administration admits it canceled clean-energy grants in states that voted for Kamala Harris

The Trump administration admitted in a federal court filing that it recommended terminating clean-energy grants based "solely" on states' "political identity" and whether former Vice President Kamala Harris won the vote there. The Department of Energy sent the Office of Management and Budget a list of over 600 grants recommended for cancellation from recipients in states where Harris won, and ultimately 284 grants were terminated.
