Today in Supreme Court History: August 16, 1933

On August 16, 1933, President Roosevelt adopted the Code of Fair Competition for the Governance of the Petroleum Industry. The Supreme Court later declared the National Industrial Recovery Act, which authorized such codes, unconstitutional.
