This week, @SecKennedy and @DrOzCMS, joined by leaders from @WHFraudTF, @CMSGov, and @OIGatHHS, announced that HHS and CMS are deferring more than $1 billion in federal Medicaid payments to California and Minnesota pending review of certain high-risk Medicaid claims. This is part of the Trump Administration's proactive effort to stop waste, fraud, and abuse before taxpayer dollars go out the door—and to ensure Medicaid serves the Americans who need it most.
