President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that a US-Iran ceasefire deal will reopen the Strait of Hormuz and that Iran has pledged not to build a nuclear weapon. Iran's state media claims the country plans to implement fees on transit through the Strait of Hormuz, contradicting Trump's statement that the waterway would be permanently toll free.
