The flu shot finally gets an upgrade

The Food and Drug Administration approved Moderna's mRNA flu vaccine. The new vaccine is expected to outperform the standard flu vaccine and demonstrated a 27 percent lower likelihood of contracting the flu in older adults during clinical trials.
