Supreme Court to decide if Alaska can seize pilot’s plane over 6-pack of beer 

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case challenging Alaska's bid to seize pilot Ken Jouppi's 1969 Cessna airplane over a passenger's attempt to fly alcohol into a dry village. Jouppi denies knowledge of the alcohol and argues that losing his plane constitutes an excessive fine.
