Sudan’s war refugees describe horrors in Egyptian jails, surging deportations

Al-Nazir Al-Sadig, an 18-year-old refugee from Sudan's civil war, died of pneumonia after being held in a Cairo jail. Friends and relatives reported he endured beatings and extortion by other inmates during his over three weeks of detention.
