State-of-the-art capabilities: During the #PANAMAX26 exercise, U.S. Marine Corps service members and Panamanian partners come together to train in counter-small unmanned aerial systems at Aeropuerto Internacional de Panama Pacifico. This training is advancing the objectives of the newly established SOUTHCOM Autonomous Warfare Command (SAWC) to embrace cost-effective autonomous, semi-autonomous, and unmanned platforms and systems to counter threats and challenges in the region. Multinational defense and security forces are training together during the Panamanian-hosted PANAMAX exercise.
