South Korea president highlights US alliance after Trump reduces joint exercises 

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung highlighted the country's alliance with the United States during a Cabinet meeting. President Trump announced over the weekend that he directed the Pentagon to substantially reduce joint military exercises with Seoul.
