South Carolina on cusp of being first 2028 Democratic presidential primary state

The DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee voted Friday to recommend South Carolina as the first state to hold the 2028 Democratic presidential primary. This decision moves South Carolina to the front of the nominating calendar, preceding Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada.
