Senate Panel Advances Jay Clayton as Next Spy Chief on Party-Line Vote

The Senate Intelligence Committee advanced Jay Clayton to be the next Director of National Intelligence in a party-line vote. Clayton is expected to succeed Bill Pulte in leading the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
