Senate Democrat blocks House-passed bill on data center electricity costs 

Senator Martin Heinrich blocked Senator Jon Husted's attempt to unanimously pass the Ratepayer Protection Act. The bill aimed to require states to consider making tech companies cover their data centers' electricity cost impacts.
