Securing our border means stopping the cartels and the deadly drugs they traffic before reaching American communities. At the San Ysidro Port of Entry, FBI Co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey joined @CBP and @FBISanDiego to see firsthand how our law enforcement partners are targeting cartel networks and disrupting the flow of fentanyl across our border. Across the FBI, our fight against the cartels has resulted in the seizure of more than 3,000 kilograms of fentanyl—enough to kill more than 247 million Americans. The FBI will continue working shoulder to shoulder with our law enforcement partners to dismantle these criminal networks, stop deadly drugs at the border, and protect the American people.

The FBI is actively working with law enforcement partners at the border to disrupt the flow of fentanyl and dismantle cartel networks. Their efforts have resulted in significant seizures of fentanyl, underscoring a commitment to protecting American communities.
