Rubio announces sanctions on ICC officials amid campaign to dismantle the court

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions on two International Criminal Court officials, President Tomoko Akane and senior trial lawyer Abdoulaye Seye, in an effort to dismantle the court. The sanctions target individuals who have investigated or prosecuted officials from countries not consenting to ICC jurisdiction.
