Rogue House Democrats Golden and Perez face growing push for "consequences"

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and other Democratic leaders announced they have asked the Committee on Caucus Rules to investigate the decision by Representatives Jared Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to vote with Republicans on a procedural measure. The two Democrats cited their own sponsored legislation as justification for their votes, stating leadership could not have anticipated their opposition to the procedural rule.
