A whistleblower statement released by Senator Richard Blumenthal alleges the U.S. Postal Service is launching a hastily built, error-riddled computer system as part of President Donald Trump's executive order limiting mail voting. The system, which election officials have warned cannot be implemented before mail ballots are sent, could jeopardize the process of mail voting relied upon by one-third of all voters.
