OPM Removes References to Unlawful Uniform Guidelines From Federal Hiring Regulation

The US Office of Personnel Management issued an interim final rule removing references to the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures from federal personnel regulations. This action aligns OPM's regulations with a Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel opinion concluding the Uniform Guidelines are unlawful.
