Not ‘standard’ for Taylor Farms to seek White House intervention in ‘diarrhea lettuce’ recall, ex-FDA chief says

Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb stated it was not standard practice for Taylor Farms to seek White House intervention during the "diarrhea lettuce" recall. Gottlieb added he did not hear from the White House during previous romaine lettuce and spinach outbreaks he managed.
