New California law could change how kids consume social media forever

The California State Senate Appropriations Committee advanced two bills, AB 1709 and AB 2, which propose changes to how minors consume social media. These bills could be sent to Governor Gavin Newsom's desk for signature before the legislative session concludes on August 31.
