Navy Carrier’s Problems Are Tied to Attacks on U.S. Base Early in War

The New York Times reported that problems with the Navy carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower are tied to attacks on a U.S. base early in the war. Diego Garcia, an island 2,200 miles from the Gulf of Oman, became the Navy's logistics hub after Iran damaged a base in Bahrain.
