NASA Welcomes Mauritius as 70th Artemis Accords Signatory  

The Republic of Mauritius became the 70th signatory and seventh African nation to join the Artemis Accords, with NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson offering remarks at a signing ceremony Friday in Ébène where Mauritius' Permanent Secretary Navindsing Jugmohunsing executed the agreement on behalf of the country. The accession expands the global coalition committed to responsible space exploration and follows decades of NASA engagement with Mauritius dating to satellite tracking operations between 1965 and 1980.
