Iran's military threatened a "harsh response" if Israel does not cease attacks in southern Lebanon, despite an agreement reached between Iran and the US to end the Middle East war. The framework peace agreement, to be signed on Friday in Switzerland, includes the lifting of economic sanctions on Iran and decisions on its nuclear program, contingent on the free flow of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and not obtaining a nuclear weapon.
