Man who pleaded guilty to killing Minnesota Democrat sentenced to life in prison

The man accused of killing former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Horton was sentenced to two consecutive life terms, plus 40 years in prison. Vance Boelter, 59, was sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars over a year after his fatal shooting of Horton and her husband Mark Horton.
