Man found guilty in federal terrorism prosecution tied to Salman Rushdie stabbing

A man has been found guilty in a federal terrorism prosecution tied to the stabbing of author Salman Rushdie, according to the Department of Justice. The DOJ stated that 28-year-old Hadi Matar of Fairview, N.J. was convicted by a federal jury of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
