Lawsuit seeks to ban Trump Media from charging for early access to president's posts on US policy

The Freedom of the Press Foundation and The Intercept filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday seeking to stop President Donald Trump from charging for early access to his posts on U.S. policy via his Truth Social company. The lawsuit alleges the new paid service, Truth API, violates the First and Fifth Amendments by offering preferential access to market-moving information.
