Kay Granger, first GOP woman from Texas to win House seat, dies at 83

Kay Granger, a Republican who represented Texas in the House of Representatives for 28 years, has died at the age of 83. Granger was the first woman to be elected to Congress from Texas and later became the first woman to chair the House Appropriations Committee.
