Judge says government must give 30 days notice before demolishing Kennedy Center

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper declined Rep. Joyce Beatty's request for an emergency hearing regarding the Kennedy Center board's vote to close the building for renovations. Judge Cooper ordered that the government must provide at least 30 days' notice if it plans to demolish the performing arts center.
