Judge rules Trump administration order to fire FEMA staffers was illegal

A federal judge ruled Friday that a Trump administration order to cut FEMA staffing was illegal. US District Judge Susan Illston found the Department of Homeland Security acted arbitrarily and capriciously in revoking FEMA's authority to renew contracts for disaster response teams and rebuked officials for deleting evidence.
