Judge rules FDA restrictions on mifepristone are arbitrary and capricious

U.S. District Judge Robert S. Ballou ruled the Food and Drug Administration's restrictions on the abortion medication mifepristone were arbitrary and capricious. The judge ordered the FDA to reconsider these restrictions, which have been cited as barriers to abortion access nationwide.
