Illinois Democrat appeals corruption conviction to Supreme Court

Ex-Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan is asking the Supreme Court to review his corruption conviction for using his position to financially reward himself and political associates. Madigan was sentenced to more than seven years in prison after a jury found him guilty.
