ICE keeps accusing immigrants of ‘weaponizing’ vehicles. Most claims fall apart

The Guardian reported that nearly all vehicle assault cases promoted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) involving immigrants have been disproven or dropped. A review of 26 DHS-promoted cases found that only one resulted in an assault conviction.
