How America is adapting to climate extremes

Alice Hill, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, stated that nearly all U.S. infrastructure was built for a climate that no longer exists. Mikhail Chester, director of Arizona State University's Metis Center for Infrastructure and Sustainable Engineering, added that the infrastructure industry recognizes climate hazards cost more to ignore than to design for.
