House Republicans fail to turn Trump’s transgender military ban into law as two members defect

House Republicans failed to pass an amendment by Lauren Boebert that would have reinstated a ban on transgender individuals serving in the military. Two anti-transgender amendments by Nancy Mace were passed by the House of Representatives.
