House ethics panel says it’s investigating Rep. Jimmy Gomez over allegation of ‘sexual misconduct’

The House Ethics Committee announced it is investigating Representative Jimmy Gomez of California for an allegation of sexual misconduct. Representative Gomez stated he had made personal mistakes outside his marriage but maintained he did not violate any laws or House Ethics rules.
