Hegseth announces new Pentagon battlefield test for promotions to general

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the Pentagon is altering the promotion process to the rank of general to cut bureaucracy and demand true meritocracy. The Defense Department will roll out the Joint process this year.
