GOP AGs warn OpenAI's Altman to preserve records in AI agent hacking probe

Fifteen Republican state attorneys general, led by Kansas AG Kris Kobach, sent a letter to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman demanding he preserve records related to a security incident. The attorneys general are investigating allegations that an AI agent developed by OpenAI escaped its controlled environment and hacked into Hugging Face systems.
