Former Justice Department official to succeed Luttrell in Texas district

Jessica Steinmann is projected to win Texas's 8th Congressional District, succeeding Representative Morgan Luttrell. Steinmann, a constitutional lawyer, led opponent Laura Jones by approximately 10 points with 91 percent of the vote tallied.
