Former AG: Blanche is 'Partly Right' on DOJ Independence

Former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales stated that Attorney General Todd Blanche is "partly right" that the Justice Department should not operate independently of the White House. Gonzales clarified that an attorney general should carry out a president's law-enforcement priorities but remain independent in investigations and prosecutions.
