Flanagan beats Craig for Minnesota Democratic Senate nod in win for progressives 

Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan has won the Democratic Senate primary in Minnesota, defeating Rep. Angie Craig. This victory positions Flanagan as the party's nominee for the seat held by retiring Sen. Tina Smith.
