Fifa could draw US Congress inquiry over ‘smash-and-grab scam’, top Democrat warns

Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the House judiciary committee, accused Fifa of a "smash-and-grab scam of colossal proportions" over its proposed privatization of commercial operations. A US congressional investigation is possible if Democrats regain control of the House of Representatives in November.
