Federal judge blasts ICE over "inhumane" NYC detention conditions

Federal Judge Lewis A. Kaplan issued a permanent injunction against ICE regarding conditions at the 26 Federal Plaza detention center. The judge found ICE had subjected detainees to inhumane and unconstitutional conditions by overcrowding and denying basic needs.
