Fact Sheet: USTR Section 301 Action in Response to the Failure of 60 Economies to Ban Imports Produced with Forced Labor

Ambassador Jamieson Greer announced a 10% or 12.5% tariff on 60 trading partners, subject to product exemptions, in response to their failure to ban imports produced with forced labor. This action covers 99.4% of U.S. imports and aims to eliminate forced labor from global supply chains.
